BXpanded Quick-On Bucket Connector

The BXpanded Quick-On Bucket Connector is designed for quick changes of buckets and back hoe attachments. The Quick-On Connector accommodates the standard Kubota buckets as well as other BXpanded attachments such as the Barracuda Back Hoe Thumb, Talon Ripper, Trenching Bucket, and BH Mounted Hitch Style Receiver. The connector allows the attachment to be removed or installed in seconds with no tools.

The BHCBX works with the Kubota BT601, BT602 and BT603 back hoes used on the BX24, BX25, BX25D and BX23S.

The Quick-On Connector attaches to the backhoe with the original pins. One of the supplied pins is installed permanently in each attachment or bucket. One permanent pin is required for each attachment. The Connector is supplied with a pin for the original bucket and 1 extra pin for another attachment. Extra pins are available for more attachments.

PLEASE NOTE: We cannot assure that attachments manufactured by others will be compatible with the BXpanded Quick-On Connector.

this is a great addition to my bx25d. i have 3 attachments for my backhoe, before i had to get out the wrenches pull two grease pins and reattach . now pull one non grease pin & remove bucket, put new attachment on replace pin and your done! all in about 30 sec. see harrys u tube video. great product.

I use this to switch between my 12" bucket and my Bro-Tek Ripper tooth. It takes only minute or two the switch so it is easy to use the best tool for the job. Great addition to my tractor. I probably should have purchased the BXpanded ripper instead. This is one of 8 BXpanded items on my tractor.

The same day this quick-on adapter arrived I installed it.&return&&newline&It installed without the slightest trouble and fit the bx's bh perfectly. After installing it and finding that though removing the bh's original pins were easy, it does take time to remove them, but after installing the quick-on and swapping between the bucket and ripper it was great to see how quick the swap went.&return&&newline&&return&&newline&Anyone planning on switching back and forth between bh tools needs to install this quick-on bracket.&return&&newline&It literally takes only seconds to switch between bh tools once this quick-on is installed.

A must have link to add on tools

I recently purchased the backhoe ripper which required this connector. I was pleasantly surprised at how easy it was to attach and very pleased at how fast I could switch between the bucket and ripper.

I bought the Quick-On Back Hoe Bucket Connector for my BX25D. The installation was fast and easy, took all of 5 minutes to install. I purchased the trencher bucket and wanted this quick connect to be able to switch between it and the 12" bucket. Does the job, quick and easy! I highly recommend it.

A must have for changing buckets

I upgraded from a BX2370 to the 23S and my experience with BXpanded has been flawless. I hesitated buying this since I wasn't sure I'd need to change the buckets often enough to make it worth the money. I ordered the trenching bucket and quickly realized that changing a bucket in the field is a recipe for disaster. Grease is lost and it's messy. Contamination is likely and parts can get lost. I figured I already spent the big money on the machine and this will enhance the operations. I have three buckets and use them all now with ease.

Best Attachment Ever!

This is a must have attachment for anyone using a backhoe with multiple buckets, or rippers. Product is very well made, like the other products I've purchased from BXpanded, and I would have given it 10 stars if it was an option.

A Must have!

At first i was planning to pull and swap buckets by removing the pins. Then i though better of it and ordered this. This is a time and back saver. If you are planning to swap buckets, you need this kit. Be sure to order an extra pin for each attachment you have.

This thing is super handy to have on my Kabota BX23S! Pretty easy to install even though one of the bolts they sent was too long & sheered off the first time I cured the bucket. I replaced that 1 1/2" bolt with a SS bolt of the correct length & haven't had any problems since. I used this to interchange between my BXpanded 2" BH mount receiver, trencher bucket, root ripper and the factory 12" bucket. Everything from BXpanded is Heavy Duty US made products that will last for years to come!!

Worth it!

I use this on my 2018 Kubota Bx23s to switch between to factory buckets and it works really well. Once installed switching the bucket takes about 10-15 seconds.

Shortly after I got my Kubota BX25D, I discovered BXpanded on the internet. I purchased several items including the Quick-On Back Hoe Connector and the Trencher Bucket. The Quick-On Connector is most handy when changing from the regular-size bucket to the trencher. Saves a lot of work and manual labor in the process. I highly recommend the purchase of both items. Even though I only have 2 acres here I work on, I actually change between them regularly depending on the wife’s “honey-do” list entails.

Good design/fit - works well.

Fitted to my BX23s backhoe (BT603) This is a solid bit of kit. I decided to watch the installation video to confirm the correct orientation as I noted, on you-tube, another user mounted it the wrong way around and had to re-install. On installation for added security, I swapped out the hex nuts with spring washers for flat washers and nylock nuts. Tried and tested- Overall, very pleased with the fit, solidness and quality of construction.

DIY'er

This is a great addition to my bx24d. It's a time and back saver and I installed it in about 10 minutes! I have four attachments for my backhoe. I pull one pin, remove the bucket, swap attachments, replace the pin and I'm done! Takes less than a minute. Works great, saves time and exertion.

Got the ripper then the quick change assembly. After hooking everything up i swapped the bucket and the ripper a couple times each to see how it would go. That is the best thing ever, only took about 10 minutes to change back and forth twice.

Quick Connect

This is a must have if you are thinking of purchasing additional attachments, ripper, trenching bucket, hitch reciever etc. High quality and its so easy to change. I would also purchase additional pins ensuring you have enough to swap without tools for the pins.

Quick Attach

This thing is a necessity if you’ve got more than one BH implement. I’ve got several BX implements, and the quick attack is brilliant! It works with the factory thumb, and is so so so much easier to swap out the bucket and the ripper. I was shying away from using the ripper because it was such a pia to swap. The quick attach solved that problem completely. This is one of my favorite BX attachments next to the BH caddy, which is also a must have as long as you’ve got a concrete floor to work with. I highly recommend both.

Do this first

Before you get too far down the road of BX23S ownership, you will want to make the modest investment in one of these. This turns your backhoe into a utility arm! Not only can you swap buckets in less than 30-seconds, but you can easily put on a host of other attachments that make your backhoe vastly more useful. The down side is that you're going to start buying all the other accessories to go with it: rippers, different buckets, hitch adapters, etc. Make your life easy and get this upgrade first. I'm very much a novice with tractors, but this install took me less than 20-minutes. You'll need three different size sockets and wrenches: 10mm, 12mm (for factory pins), and a 13mm for the BXPanded pins. Also make sure you buy a few extra pins to add to your other accessories. So happy with this purchase!

Q: I'm a little confused. How many pins come with the bucket connector?

A: The quick connector with the "no additional pins" option includes one pin with the handle for easy removal and two of the pins that stay in each attachment so it includes everything you need to use say your factory bucket and one of our attachments. The quick connect is attached to your backhoe with your factory pins. We recommend one pin to stay in each attachment so the "1 additional pin" option will cover three attachments and the "2 additional pins" option will cover 4 attachments.

Q: will this fit the BX22 backhoe?

A: The BT600 requires a slight modification for retaining the pins as it used bushings instead of the tabbed pins from the BT601 on up but we can certainly accommodate this. We don't have it listed as a compatible model as we typically try to find out what all you plan to purchase first. If you are going to purchase the quick connect we can make the modification on it only. If you want just the trencher bucket then we can make the modification on it.

You can place your order online, just put modify for BT600 in the order comments and we can take it from there.

If you decide to purchase the quick connect then you will need to select the 1 additional pin option as you will need an additional longer quick change pin with it to be used with your factory Kubota bucket.
