Backhoe Storage Dolly JD 260 and 260B Back Hoe

I love my BXpanded BH dolly for my 260B backhoe - I had originally built a wooden dolly but it never seemed to be very easy to use. So, I decided to get the BXpanded dolly - WOW - What a difference - I don't dread taking off my backhoe any more. This backhoe dolly is awesome. It was easy to assemble (except they only shipped 8 bolts instead of 16) and the John Deere backhoe fit perfectly into it with no problems even on the first try !!! I would absolutely recommend this product. It rolls easily and gives me a lot more room in the garage !!

This dolly is really a great accessory. I have the John Deere 260B backhoe on a 1025R tractor. With the dolly I can easily roll it into position to attach it. I can also move it around the garage. My garage floor is a concrete slab, but part of the garage has indoor/outdoor carpet glued down. It also has approx. 1/2" wide V shaped expansion joints. I was surprised to find that the dolly could move the BH over these joints and the carpet with no problem. Another big plus is that if you run into any difficulties, the customer service with BXpanded is really excellent!

Wow! I just received the dolly for my JD 2025R and I am very impressed. Exactly as advertised, as reviewed, and as described. Very professionally designed and manufactured piece of gear. More importantly, it is a game changer in use. Makes removing and installing the 260B onto my tractor trivial. Moved the process from very difficult, a bit stressful and painstaking to very easy. Great small investment to make my large tractor investment that much better. Well done BX!

This storage dolly is just what I needed for removal of the 260B back hoe. Makes it easy and safe for storage.

Anyone that has a compact tractor with a backhoe knows what a nightmare is when trying to attach or unattach the backhoe from the tractor. There have been all kinds of home grown remedies for this problem....until now. This dolly is the only way to go. Makes it so easy to change out the backhoe and quickly. I've never timed it but it is well under 5 minutes. Probably more like 2 or 3. And then you just roll it out of the way and move on. Nice big smooth rolling wheels make it a breeze to move. Without it your backhoe just sits where ever you took it off. So if your thinking about buying one, stop!!! Just buy the thing, you will never regret it.

This dolly allows me to store and roll my 260B around my shop with ease. Made very well with nice large casters!

The dolly is great! Well made, lightweight makes for easy storage, yet still more than solid enough to hold the BH securely. This makes getting the BH on and off so much easier.

I was online looking for an idea to build a storage dolly for my backhoe and came across this beautiful cart. Forgot about the fact that you couldn't build one for what it costs... or that it makes the removal and reinstallation a snap... the ability to safely store the backhoe w the outriggers up and boom tucked in reduces the amount of storage space by less than half is worth it in of itself. Rolls around in my garage like its nobody's business. Showed up two weeks. BX please make a cart for the Deere 54" snow blower next, I will buy it!

I use a 1025R John Deere for maintenance of home and 80 Acres of woodland. Tractor and attachments need to occupy a compact space, so most everything is stowed on wheeled dollies. The 260B backhoe was challenge, but the BXspanded storage dolly provided an excellent, compact, solution. The dolly is sturdy, well thought out design. The materials are of good quality, from powder coated thick wall tubing and neat welds, to heavy duty casters and plated hardware. Instructions are complete and easy to follow, both assembly and moving the backhoe from tractor to dolly. It took ten minutes to assemble, which is basically bolting the caster to the frame.

I bought this dolly in the fall of 2020 and works great. I highly recommend buying this for your backhoe.

I received my order yesterday and it was packaged well. Very easy to put together and bxtremely well built. I followed the instructions that I received and placed my backhoe on it. Make sure you read those installation instructions and if you do you will have incredible success. I just wish I had orderd it earlier. Thanks BX and Ryan for the follow up. Bought this over a year ago when I bought my John Deer 1025R. This thing works great - beyond my expectations! I wasn’t sure if it would work as easily as the YouTube videos depict - if anything it’s even easier. Makes my 1025R easy to change functionality. Highly recommended!

Look, I’m a cheapass engineer that likes to build stuff, but buy the time you buy some good casters, you are halfway to the cost of this thing anyway. I cobbled together something out of spare wood and casters based on some message board plans, but it sucked. This makes install/removal so much quicker and easier

If you’re reading this…stop and just buy the thing. I have had a couple different JD backhoes over the years. Great tool but always a nuisance to store. It was either left in weather or taking up too much space in garage. Found this dolly and figured I’d give it try. Awesome buy. Makes on/off of backhoe easier than it was and now can roll backhoe in corner out of way. Wished I had this thing years ago.

Like most 1025R owners, the backhoe is not something we need attached all the time. This cart is fantastic! Time to remove from the tractor was less than 5 minutes. Frame and dollies are heavy duty and allow for a very easy way to move the attachment into the storage area. Hydraulic hoses degrade in the sun over time, this cart is much cheaper than replacing the hoses.

Just received my backhoe dolly this past Sunday. Am very satisfied with my investment. The product is very well made using heavy gauge materials and should last well into the future. It made removing my backhoe so much easier, and allowed for me to store the unit easily into a corner of my garage. My only recommendation is that I wished it had wheel locks on the swivel wheels to prevent it from rolling away as I positioned the bucket onto it..but a couple 2x4 pieces were sufficient. Looking forward to seeing how it will facilitate the re-installation of the backhoe. Highly recommend this product.

After watching many YouTube videos, I decided the BXpanded backhoe dolly would be best option for my JD 1025R 260B backhoe. It came in just a few days. Easy to assemble, easy to use. I had to use my stabilizers to raise up my tractor to get the dolly to go under the backhoe. My tires may be low. Once I got the dolly in position I raised the stabilizers. Then I was able to disconnect the backhoe easily. The loaded dolly moves really smooth in my garage and feels stable. Much better than having the backhoe sitting on the floor and not being able to move it. Really worth the money.

This dolly is everything they claim! What a timesaver!!!
