BXpanded Piranha® Straight Bar

The Piranha Straight Bar can take some serious abuse! It’s 1/2" thick steel with an angled leading edge and finished in tough hammered finish silver; built to protect your expensive bucket and extend wear life. Typically used for snow removal, grading, and other tasks where a smooth bucket edge is desired. It comes with complete easy to follow installation instructions and all necessary hardware. The Straight Bar mounts with a single bolt on each side so it can be removed or interchanged with the Piranha Tooth Bar in a matter of minutes.

I have a BX23s and this blade fit perfectly out of the box. It does not add enough weight to effect lifting performance, but is THICK and STRONG. BXPANDED offers a step bit for your drill for a few bucks and I did both holes and had it mounted in about 5 minutes using a cordless drill. Adds a TON of stregth to thin factory bucket.

Bought one last winter works great as ice scraper for 1200' driveway. Couldn't even see any wear on it. Money well spent. Have Piranha Bar for summer and Straight Bar for winter.

piranha bar

Used on my Massey Ferguson 1020 with a 4' bucket. Hooked on in no time and worked great for digging out the side of a hill to install a second culvert on our property. Built tough, have hit some big rocks at our property and didn't make a dent in the bar. Also makes it easier for moving dirt/gravel piles around. I leave it attached except in the winter when I use the tractor to plow. Once the holes are drilled it takes about 5 minutes to install or take off. Well worth the money.

After getting my BX 2380, I noticed that the bucket edge was not very sturdy. I did some research and found the piranha tooth blade. I went ahead and purchased it and couldn't be more pleased. Cuts clay and dirt with little effort on the tractor and saves the bucket edge. Am planning on purchasing the Piranha straight blade for pickup work with leaves and snow in the near future. If you're on the bubble on purchasing, go ahead because you won't regret it....

Should have bought it sooner

I bought this bald for my worn out bx23 bucket and I have to say I wish I bought it years earlier. This thing is solid and straight if you are on the fence about it I will tell you it is worth every penny.

Buy the Step Drill

Unless you know you can drill a 3/4" hole buy the drill, it makes it SO easy to install!!! I tried to cheap out, Had to drive 40 miles round trip to buy a step drill for $40.00. Took me 1/2 the day, would have been an hour with the drill.

Straight Bar

I ordered my straight Bar almost a year ago. It has been one of the best bang for the buck I've purchased for my tractor It gets the job done quick & makes the bucket work easy. It was sure worth the money & the wait time.

Love the piranha straight bar

I was on the edge of getting this VS a cheaper standard one for my 2021 BX23S. I decided ont he straight VS tooth since I know I had a lot of backdragging to do. Install took me about 20 minutes. I cut myself really good on the sharp bar so wear gloves and be careful! Now in regards to performance I would say I'm very happy. The bar keeps the bucket solid and cuts through clay easily. It also adds a few inches out front so you can fill your bucket more. It is a very heavy, so unfortunately I know I'm not able to lift as much as before, but it's still worth it. I'm a happy customer!

Worth every penny!

Four years into having this installed on a BX25 and it has been amazing. I use the heck out of my tractor and it digs, scraps, plows, and smashes, taking the abuse and still looking new after all that. Zero regrets, turns a wimpy bucket into the tool that it is supposed to be!
