AWSOME!! I bought Piranha tooth bar and it is AWSOME! I have put it thru everything i could in 8 weeks and it has beat all expectations. Makes my BX23 loader an angry monster. No more issues bouncing off mounds of B2 modified for road work, cuts right thru and you get a full load. No issue with dirty clay fill with rocks, cuts in again. Topsoil and anything light does not stand a chance. No issues with straight clean ï¿½ drainage stone. No issue with rock mounds and boulders. I have back dragged .5 mile dirt road with teeth and then redid with back of bar. Straight edge leaves nice flat result and I used much less new stone then without. Made trails in single pass thru deep underbrush, again AWSOME!!. Removed 100 feet railroad tie retaining wall with precision. Snuck teeth in between layers removed 3-4 rows at time. Moved and slammed into 1000lb boulders to make rock wall. The bar never shuttered once and is as bad as the day i put it on. I thought for sure after all those boulders and slammingpushing them thru woods it would tear this up, not even a dent. Sheared pin for 4 wheel drive u joint from front drive shaft and bar is still as mean as it was out of the box. Strips sod with scary accuracy and removed large swaths of grass, intact and replanted. Makes your bucket actually DIG and do what you thought you might be able to. This is must own for all compact tractors and I have recommended to all friends. I did have severe smiley face on my bucket before install and was too much. Slammed bucket into tree nicely a few times to reshape and except bar install. Did need to some extended hammering with hand sledge, but that%u2019s because I beat the living heck out of my stuff when using. 10 out of 10 for me and no brainer purchase ,,trust me you will be very pleased, not to mention great Customer service.

I bought the piranha bar for my Kubota's FEL. This blade is awesome! I was able to push brush and trash trees with ease. Trees that were 4-6 were sheared with little effort from my tractor. I highly recommend this product!

Just buy it. Seriously.

I received mine a week ago. Only took a couple of days, despite the website warning it could take 2 weeks. I have 5 acres of woods as a yard. I am in an unending battle with scrub brush that chokes out the desirable trees on my lot. I tried a DR Field and Brush mower, which had so many drawbacks I can't list them all here. It was tough to handle, and exhausting. And boulders....which I have a lot of....well, it didn't like them. So I got a JD 1025 R to use as a mower, and with an FEL and plow. I had hoped to clear scrub with the Loader, but it was completely ineffective. Great at everything else, but I still had a brush problem. I didn't want to try a brush hog because of cost, and the aforementioned boulder content of my property. I saw this, and thought, what the hell. Might work. I got it and installed it (get the step drill, it makes install a 20 minute deal). 5 minutes later I was punching holes in the underbrush, and uprooting saplings up to 2" round, easily. When I'd run up against a bunch of them, I started putting the bucket on the ground, tipping it up a couple of degrees, and burying the bar into the bunch, tip back further, and POP, up they come. And you can run it into a boulder without hurting it. It digs like a monster, and backfilling is way easier. So now I can dig those boulders up, which I couldn't do with the stock bucket. Best idea ever. When, or if, I kill this one, I will gleefully order another one. It is a 1000% improvement in the functionality of the bucket. Buy it! You will not believe it.

Just installed the other day. So easy. I had to grind away about 1/2 of material on the mounting brackets so that the bar would fit up tight against my bucket edge. Total installation including the grinding to fit took maybe 45 minutes. Also bought the step drill bit. Good price and cut like butter. Bar works great. Roots, small stumps, rocks up to about the size of a microwave, all gone. Fantastic product.

I am very disappointed with this company . There is no one there to answer the phones nor do they respond to emails. I have ordered a tooth bar couple of weeks ago and still have no response on when it’s going to be shipped and arrive at my home. There is no way to even track my order on their website their customer service is very poor and I will not be doing business with them again. I will also be creating a charge back on my credit card because I have no product and nobody is responding to me

I should have bought this years ago. Man this thing will chew up some ground. I bought mine last week and since then have not been off my tractor. I built a small pond to see if I could do it then started clearing some more of my property. REALLY impressed with it.

This tooth bar seriously amplified the digging ability of my tractor. It is a snap to install, a snap to remove, and is heavy duty and robust. What was taking hours to dig before installing got finished in a fraction of the time without it. Clay, rocks, roots. doesn't matter.this design tears through it.

Great Addition To Bucket

I installed this on my JD1025R w/R120 loader. It is truly amazing what an improvement it made to the digging ability of my tractor. I have heavy red clay soil and the factory cutting edge would slide along the ground. The Piranha Tooth Bar bites into the ground and it will grab onto small trees and brush. I have chewed thru large roots that were too large to get out otherwise. Very easy to install using the step-bit and following the included instructions. This is a great American Made product that is worth the price I paid. This is an American Company that is producing a quality product that I feel they will stand behind should any problems arise in the future. I had some questions for them prior to receiving the tooth bar and their response was quick and precise. I've had a couple more email contacts with them and am impressed by their attention to my questions and comments. Highly recommend this company and this product if you have a need to greatly improve your loader bucket.

Installed the Piranha tooth bar.....first it fit great on my Massey GC1710...install was simple with the stickers supplied for center punching the holes to drill. Used a 3/16, then 3/8, and finally a 5/8 bit. Went out and cut into some heavily rooted and 2-2.5" trees and couldn't believe how much easier it is to rip through it with this bar. Additionally my bucket holds considerably more now too.....couldn't be happier.

Fantastic Teeth

Fantastic tool. These allow me to do things with a small 36 hp CUT that I couldn't even begin to do before. I live in shale country and encounter it frequently by accident. The ground here is really horrible and I am on 66 acres so it keeps busy. So far only the tiniest nick in that wickedly sharp blade and has at least 30 hours of scooping rocky ground in the last 2 years. Easy on and off with 2 bolts too. I love this thing!

Piranha bar and slip hooks. I was very impressed with the service at BXpanded and the speed of delivery of my piranha bar and the bucket slip hooks. The bar is very well-made, fits perfectly (I suggest using a step drill to drill the two holes for the mounting bolts) , looks good and is great for digging (and scraping through the ice that is still (!) in much of my roadway). The bucket hooks were ridiculously easy to attach and, as stated on the webpage, are very easy to reposition on the bucket. All in all, I am very satisfied with both purchases. Harry Clearman, at BXpanded was very helpful, replied promptly to emails, and got my order processed and shipped very fast. I highly recommend BXpanded.

Finally got the 57" Piranha bar installed and tried it out. I'm breaking the review into two parts: Fit/Finish and Function/Performance. Fit/Finish: I have a JD 2038R with the 57" Heavy Duty materials bucket. It measures exactly 57" from side to side on the inside where the BXpanded instructions say to measure. So that's what I ordered. It arrived in good condition with all the parts present. Once I set it inside the bucket to check fit I discovered a 3/4" gap on the other end when one end was placed against the side wall of the bucket. I measured the distance between the outside edges of the tabs and it was 56 1/8". So, I managed to bend them enough to get the hole locations marked and drilled the holes. Once it was tightly clamped in place with the tabs flush alongside the bucket sides I put the bolts in place with flat and lock washers. The 1 3/4" bolts were too short by about 1/4". Couldn't even get the nuts started they were so short. Very disappointing that such a simple thing derailed the install. I had to go to the hardware store and buy 2" bolts to get the bucket attached. I was able to get it attached and secured with the new bolts. So I'm not impressed at all with the BXpanded quality and attention to detail when it comes to fitment. The finish of the product was excellent. Function/Performance: No complaints here. Himalayan blackberries are a real problem here and they take over everything. I have a particularly nasty clump of them growing over my septic lids. A few passes made quick work of removing the bulk of the bushes. If it works as well on other stuff as it did the blackberries it will be well worth the investment and the brain damage to get it installed. 5 stars for Performance.

Unbelievable Tool

Put tooth bar on my old Kubota L4310 2 years ago. I have a farm which had been in Government CRP program for 35 years. Had over a 100 acres which was totally overgrown with brush,4" to 6" trees ie locust,hedge,Multi flora rose etc. I used the bucket /bar and brush hog to reclaim it. About 150 hours with bar. It has never failed to suprise me what it will rip up,shear or dig up. Simply put the Bar has been severly used. I went over the complete tractor a couple of weeks ago to check for any issues needing repair or attention. The Bar still looks new, no dull edges, no gouges or chunks missing, bolts still torqued same as when installed. My bucket is still straight and just needs a little orange paint to make it look like it did new. {It will stay dirty :) } Excellent work attachment.

Piranha Bar for BX

So far, So good!...Item arrived ahead of schedule and in perfect condition. It installed very easily, the instructions were clear and hardware complete. The bar was thicker than I imagined and heavy. I've cleared/scraped away a few scrubby vines and weeds so far and look forward to a lot of use in the coming months.

I purchased the PTB for my little BX1500. All I can say is WOW! It has truly transformed my BX. It is especially good at ripping out bittersweet and poison ivy vines hanging from trees by raising the bucket up high, curling it forward and pulling the vines down with the teeth. Also works great for digging up small stumps and brush by the roots. Plucking up stones with the factory cutting edge was a waste of time, not anymore. I've been cleaning up along stone walls and all over the property. This thing is bulletproof! Awesome!

Trying to clear brush with the FEL on my JD2305 was fruitless until I got this bar - What a difference!! Rips 2-3 inch Yaupon out by the roots! Don't even think about it, get one and see how useful your machine can really be.

If you have a front end loader, and you don't have this attachment for it. Then stop reading all these great, and honest reviews, and ORDER YOU ONE FOR YOUR LOADER. You will Thank me for the advise if we were to ever meet. Words can't explain just how great this attachment from Bxpanded really is. We own a Turf Maintenance business, and I have done any, and everything there is to do with this attachment. From grading yards, to cutting sod out. Truth fully you want be disappointed. Ordered it Mon. received it on Wed. can't beat that !&return&&newline&All I can say is this tooth bar is built like my BX 2670 and both are built to LAST !!!!!! amazed at the solid constructed one piece steel at 1/2 thick. My bucket will bend before the BXpanded tooth bar ever will...and it will give reinforcment to the bucket as well. Looked at a lot of tooth bars on line and then spotted the BX bar and looked at its design and concluded that its one piece tooth and bar is far superior to all other tooth bars. the 300.00 plus dollars was well spent on a high quaility U.S.A. PRODUCT..............

Must have!!!!!

This is a must have for you tractor!! I installed one on my John Deere 1023e and it has paid for itself in weeks. I have 13 acres with lots of wooded brush and I can literally knock over 1"-1 1/2" saplings all day by just lowering the bucket and driving through them. For trees that are larger I am able to work the blade under to the roots and with a little forward momentum I am able to topple trees up to 4". In my rocky soil the bar has proven invaluable to digging. I have also used it as a drag to level soil and pull up rocks just below the surface. The install took 20 minutes. As many have said my only regret with this bar is not having it as soon as I bought the tractor.

Delivery to Alberta was no problem, right to my door! I'm also very pleased with the hitch & bucket hooks as well! Amazing to see the bucket stripping the bark off of downed saplings. Having the PTB makes uprooting saplings soo much easier as the PTB will bite into the wood and then you can push/drive forward and rip the roots out of the ground. No digging required! Also gives a nice bit of extra reach and grab when removing dead branches up high- dangerous work but done thoughtfully and carefully (from the side) with help from the PTB and I don't cringe quite as much.

Wow, great add-on for my BX25D. Was easy to install and fit perfect. Used for the first time tonight and was really impressed how well it digs into the ground opposed to just the straight edge on the bucket. This blade will definitely get a lot of use. It's heavy duty, made really well and should last a long time. Not to mention it will add life to the bucket. Well worth the price and shipping cost. I recommend it.

Hardly need to review based on all the rest. But it is no doubt the best addition to my BX. Turns the FEL/Bucket into a digger. I have no doubt after using it for about 200hrs it has saved my bucket and still is in excellent shape. Can't recommend enough.

Just got my piranha tooth bar for my 2014 bx25d today. Been waiting like a kid for Christmas. Shipped fast. And provide email when shipped with tracking #.Installed in a short period of time. I personally used progessively larger drills as I did not have a step drill. I drilled out the holes to 5/8 at which point the bolts fit so I apoted not to drill it out to the recommended 3/4. Took my tractor out to where I am digging a pond. I could immediately could tell a big differce in the ablitity to be able to dig with the front loader. Just to be sure it was not just excitment of having something new i pull the piranha back off and tried digging in the same area with just the bucket. It was not my imagination. The piranha digs better,gets heaping buckets full of dirt in half the time with half the effort. My digging ability is now only limited by the power of the tractor. Can't wait to get my next product from this company.

Another very satisfied customer. I think the piranha tooth bar is incredibly useful. I tore through bamboo roots and concrete with it, something I simply could not have done with the bucket's straight edge. It also serves to protect and stiffen that edge.

I would like to express my overwhelming support of this product. Ordering was simple and the shipping was fast. I ordered a 48 inch Piranha tooth Bar and it was delivered in just a couple of days. I bought this bar over others because I have 5 acres of densely wooded areas. Additionally, I have several areas on the property around my ponds that need to be filled in. I had a large 30 x 10 and 5 feet tall pile of field stones, construction debris (bricks and broken concrete) and dirt that have been sitting on top of a hill for 19 years. With my bucket without the bar I just bounced off. With the Piranha bar I was able to easily dig up the material and move it. First, the bar is of high quality and fit perfectly. After moving all of the stone and debris the bar is still sharp and only the paint has worn off. Second, my small 24 horse tractor digs like there is no tomorrow. I have begun clearing my property any tree under 1 inch in diameter gets pulled up by the roots easily. For the bigger trees I just dig around the roots and the tree pulls out easily. All in all the bar has exceeded my expectations. If you have a FEL you need a Piranha tooth Bar, you won%u2019t be disappointed.

This will fit the bucket of a "B" series tractor. It's a necessity as these tractors don't have the weight to dig down very good with just the bucket's edge. It works so well, similar to a serated knife. The only time I take it off is to move snow on my driveway. If you only buy one thing for you compact tractor, this should be it.

What a great add to my JD 3203 - 300 loader. WOW! Could not say enough good things. Received the shipment fast was correct size; followed all instructions; toothbar installed perfectly and quickly (suggest you order the drill bit they offer - took all the work out of drilling). The toothbar looks great on the bucket. It is solid and well designed. Digs; drags; cuts; is easy to get use to working. This thing is awesome. Highly recommend it with no hesitation. Great value buy.

Piranha toothbar

Used on my Massey Ferguson 1020 with a 4' bucket. Hooked on in no time and worked great for digging out the side of a hill to install a second culvert on our property. My MF is only 2WD so it does not dig well at all with just the straight bucket. Built tough, have hit some big rocks at our property and didn't make a dent in the bar. Also makes it easier for moving dirt/gravel piles around. I got this in spring of 2016, I leave it attached except in the winter when I use the tractor to plow snow. Once the initial holes are drilled it takes about 5 minutes to install or take off. Well worth the money.

Added this tooth bar to my Kioti CK2610. Worth every penny!!! Really digs into the dirt and also helps in getting up rocks, or small trees and shrubs. I have beat the crap out of it, and has held up to everything i have thrown at it.

I bought one of these for a Branson 2400H. It turned a semi-useful digging bucket into a fully functional digging and scrapping bucket. After 6 months of using it to pick up 2" rock and digging and scrapping hard dirt with heavy foliage it showed only minor signs of wear. I am so impressed with the Piranha I just ordered one for my new Branson 3500H.

Oh my goodness what a great product. I absolutely love mine. It will turn your tractor into a digging machine monster. I use it to cut into hard clay and gravel chert and also to cut tree roots and general land clean up. It was worth absolutely every penny I paid for it. It really will turn your machine into a monster. I will recommend one safety thing tho. Whenever you park your tractor angle your blade down a little so it is flat with the ground so if anyone walks by it they wont hit the cutting edge with their feet. This is one of the best products I have ever bought for my tractor for it really lets me use my FEL to its full potential. If I could give it 6 stars I would.

I wrestled with the decision of which toothbar for a while. Lots of research revealed that some toothbars were recommended for digging while the Pirhana was recommended for brush clearing and loose material work. I ended up going with the Pirhana because I had planned to mostly use it for clearing small saplings and moving around dirt. The price played a major role after factoring in shipping on other brands. The other day I decided to install a pipe under my gravel driveway down at the shop. It hasn't been touched in over 20 years and was a mix of old hard packed gravel and clay. I can say that I was very impressed with the Pirhana's digging capabilities. I was easily able to dig through this hard packed driveway to get down to about two feet. Also widened my shop driveway. The driveway is sunken down so I had to dig into one "wall" of the driveway. Our soil mostly consists of clay and lots and lots of brownstone (small and large rocks). Once again, no problem there. Just wanted to give credit where credit is due. I highly recommend the Pirhana toothbar.

This was only a five minutes to install. This is a must have item for an kind of machine that has a loader bucket. Absolutely amazing how well this thing removes bushes from an over grown field. I will recommend the purchase of one of these to everyone that I know . Best Buy for any type of machine. Works even better than a factory mounted tooth bar .

Great Tool Excellent Craftsmanship

I put this tooth bar on my 4wd 40 hp Kubota. Man what a great tool I have 16 acres of brush to clear and so far this blade has been a life saver. I push small trees and brush with ease. The key is to keep a level bucket and the front tires on the ground for extra traction then let the teeth do the cutting. I push up into rows then use my Wicked Root Grapple from Everything Attachments to pick up and stack into a burn pile. If you don't own one of these tooth bars you are missing out it is worth every penny.

I own a 1997 terramite and with factory inside bucket of 47 inch.. This bar is absolutely amazing I cleared a thicket of 3 to 6 inch under brush 40x60 in about an hour with a s&%t load of vines in it

This tooth bar is awesome! Installation was really easy, do your self a favor and buy a uni-bit to drill the holes like the instructions said. I have been using this for about 10 hours on the tractor digging into everything from topsoil to gravel to hard packed dirt, as well as load and carrying. The teeth not only protect the flat bucket blade from rocks, but because you are breaking up the digging area as you go into the pile or ground, you don't need as much throttle and thus, you are putting less stress on the loader. I am using this on a Kubota B2320 and this is one of the best accessories that I have bought for the tractor so far. When going into a pile you end up getting more material into the bucket than normal, so on my tractor, if I try to break out of the pile only using the curl, it is too much for that hydraulics and will open the relief valve, I find that if I get really far into the pile, I have to back up slightly to get the bucket to lift and curl. Still, it is a massive improvement.

It's been a year now and the tooth bar has been all that it's said to be. I own a small bx 23. Originally I didn't like the looks of the smiley face my bucket was getting . after looking around and speaking with various manufacturers. I came upon this tooth bar. We have two and a half acres of what it called glacier rock. I dig and dig and dig. This bar is strong and suitable for this machine . I couldn't imagine what it would do on a larger machine. I am an industrial mechanic by trade (32 years) and I know a good product. Thank you for selling me this I would recommend it to anyone. Extremely versatile for all needs. 500 hrs and not a bend or break in it. Thankyou

Piranha Bar

This bar was very simple to install. The directions were crystal clear and written in true English (not as a second language like so many instructions these days.) This is the best thing I have bought for my tractor (30hp Cub Cadet 7305). From digging out trees, vines, moving 3 gravel or dirt it has exceeded my expectations. Dug a drainage ditch with ease. I would recommend it to anyone with a front end loader that is planning on doing any diggig or moving material.

Piranha Tooth Bar

Works as advertised. Install on my B7610 was easy and took about 20 minutes. I did, however, deviate from the instructions a bit. Instead of using the adhesive backed hole markers that come with the bar, I clamped it in place and painted the end of the bolts with "never-seeze". (Which you'll want to use anyways) Then I simply touched the bolt head to the bucket using the mounting bracket as a guide. The bolt "circle' transferred perfectly. Hit it with a center punch, and both holes were perfect! This is like having a brush hog on your bucket!

Eats dirt!

Needed teeth for my 1958 IH 340 Utility tractor with FL. I have a few grading and clean up projects on the homestead. Flat edge just wasn't doing the job. Started looking into bucket teeth and these had great reviews. Install was not complicated. All hardware is provided. I suggest purchasing the step drill bit. My 19v cordless craftsmen ( to my surprise) was able to drill through the bucket walls. It's heavy duty thick steel with crazy teeth design. I was immediately impressed with the amount of dirt I could grab with a single pass. The directions state to use caution as the loads of dirt you'll be able to grab can be vastly heavier than what you're used to. It's true. I had to drop a load just so my rear tires could get traction. You'll need a counter weight if you're working in soft dirt. The dirt mounds I'm moving are hard packed. The price is reasonable. Straight forward install even though my bucket had some wear and a slight smile. No welding just drill two holes. Awesome customer service and made in the US.

I don't usually write reviews. If you're wondering why your bucket doesn't dig, this is the answer. A regular bucket is fine for moving loose material, but if you want to dig you definitely need a tooth bar and the piranha appears to be the cats meow. It has definitely improved the ability to dig and also cuts up small roots. Installation was easy, get the optional step drill bit as that makes it easier.

Transformed my 1026R

I bought this thing to help remove Mesquite trees. It does that ok. I found that it but works really well at road maintenance. It removes mounded granite and grass, levels and fills potholes in forward. It works great back dragging in float mode. It has already paid for itself in road maintenance alone. Small trees and brush hate this thing. If the rock wears it out, I'll buy another one. It's that good.

I was really impressed with the effectiveness of the PTB for waging war on 10 foot high blackberry thickets on my property. My neighbors who own bigger tractors than my BX2660 were impressed with how much land I've reclaimed with my little toy tractor. Installed on a 1023e bucket that I never wanted to use because it did not work well without the teeth. If I could rate it a 10! This blade is phenomenal! Digging dirt as well as forward and back raking increases quality and ability 100%. Used it to dig stumps, cutting through brush, no limit to the added benefits, as well as cutting the time in half everything used for over normal bucket. Would pay double the cost for this device.

Glad I bought it. Installation was straight forward. Note you have to drill two holes. Cleared a bucket wide swath of mature blackberry vines with each pass. The bar teeth snagged the vines and drug out the roots, leaving the grass. Also needed some fill dirt for a hole. Pointed the bucket slightly down in soil where I had just cleared the blackberries, and easily filled it 2/3rds full with each pass. Last chore today was removing a dying apricot tree with a 5" trunk. I left the trunk 4' high and shoved it with the bucket/bar. The teeth dug into the wood and allowed forcing the trunk to the ground, breaking roots. Did this on three sides and it was out. I can't say the bar has paid for itself yet, but it won't take many more days like today for that to happen. It's built very sturdy and heavy.

Excellent product. If you are thinking about buying this and are not sure yet let me help you. Stop thinking and just buy it. I have owned my BX since 2007 and have over 600 hrs on it. If I had had this on there from the beginning I might only have 300hrs on it. This bar is amazing. It drastically changed how my loader digs. I live in the desert in Colorado and the soil here is like concrete. Even the backhoe has trouble breaking out soil. The bucket now digs and breaks through the soil. A real time saver to not have to use the backhoe to break the surface loose then go back with the loader. The bar also levels and grades very nicely. Busts out rock and slag very well too. I probably have 20 hrs use on it now moving tons of rock and slag and soil. Hardly a sign of wear on the paint. Built very well, finished very well.

Wow, I should have bought one of these years ago!. My Kioti CK25 was worthless to dig with on my property. I have clay soil that dries out and is hard as roack. The new toothbar allows me to dig with ease! Small trees and overgrowth are no longer a problem to plow through.

Awesome improvement to my B2320! It truly is not just for BX's. We have seen improvement in every phase of using FEL, without any significant decrease in lifting power. Before PTB, we were frustrated with using FEL for landscaping, driveway maint., and removing brush. With PTB it's a much more able tool! Our chain-on bucket forks fit over it without any problems after slight modification to upright brackets. Harry was excellent to work with, and the price can't be beat for the build quality and sturdiness of the PTB. Digs, rakes, smooths, clears brush, and still cuts roots like butta! It even straightened out the curve in our bucket edge.

I had this installed and put to work 7 days after ordering. The folks at bxpanded are more than helpful when you call and an absolute pleasure to talk with. I put the piranha bar on and went to work clearing brush in the woods. I cut everything down that was under 4” and when I went through with this thing I realized I didn’t need to cut the smaller stuff. This thing rips and cuts everything in its path. I completely beat the hell out of it for about 3 hours and decided that it was the greatest thing I’ve ever bought. I was prying and digging boulders out and there’s no sign of any wear at all. I couldn’t believe it. This thing is worth way more than they charge and it beats every other tooth bar out there hands down. It’s not even a close call. Buy it. Seriously.

If you have a John Deere 1025R with a 120 loader and have brush and small trees to clear (up two inches) you need the Piranha tooth bar. It is worth every penny :). It fit like a glove. If you don’t have a stepper bit buy one. I started with a 3/32 bit, then a 1/4 inch bit and finally finishes with the stepper bit. Note the fit was so snug, I used a long (60”) pipe clamp to squeeze the mounts and slide it right in the bucket. The holes were drilled and finished in ten minutes!! The hole stickers did not stick to the new blade...I used a sharply to mark the holes. I tried it right away and the Piranha tooth bar was awesome :))

Great tool

Picked this up for my kubota l3901 as the smooth bucket is essentially useless for anything but loose dirt or mulch. Paired with my grapple bucket the tooth bar has transformed the land clearing ability of my little kubota. The bar is just perfect for pulling out the thousands of small tree's and thorns that are choking the clear cut portion of my property. Shipping was fast, it fit perfectly, and it performs better than I could have imagined. After a few test runs I can now snatch the small tree's out of the ground or with a slight bucket angle change just shear them off flush with the ground. Makes digging a breeze as well. I would consider this a must have attachment upgrade for any loader using a smooth bucket. I ordered the drill bit with it as well, cut through the bucket effortlessly and I had it installed in about 5 minutes. It took longer to put the tools away than it did to install the bar. Great product.

A substantial addition

I purchased this product about one month ago and am using it on my Kubota BX2380. It's quiet helpful in helping the bucket be more functional to use. I'm in the process of clearing a long treelike on one side of the property. It grabs branches and limbs much easier, latches onto barbed wire which I'm also removing. It allows the bucket to reach beneath and roll large stumps from trees I'm removing and clearing much easier than with the simple edge on the bucket. I also use it as a rake, to drag broken limbs, bushes/shrubs and debris from within overgrown areas. I also use it to rake debris from downed trees to a pile that makes them easy to clean up, scooping the pile into the bucket.

It's every bit as good as the reviews say it is

This is my second purchase of this tooth bar. Originally purchased one for my JD 2025r with a FEL. Read the other reviews it is everything everyone says it is. It's so good I traded in my 2025r on a 2038r and ordered a tooth bar for the 2038r before I received my new tractor so I didn't have to run my FEL without a piranha tooth bar. I would not own a compact tractor with out this tooth bar on the Front End Loader period. Once I put it on I've never taken it off for any of my projects and chores, seriously never. Does it bucket rock? Yeah! Dig dirt? Yep! Plow snow? Yep does that too! Can you back drag and level with it on? Yes sir it has a flat bottom. Try that one with a Heavy Hitch brand tooth bar. No sir can't be done. I love mine for pushing together and scooping cut firewood. Look, if your on the fence about one, buy it. Other than rear ballast this is my favorite implement for my tractor. With my 2025r I leveled around 60 tons of 411 burm stone another 20 tons of 57's and about 20 tons of river rock. So 100 tons of stone a bunch of land scape stones tons and tons of dirt and countless other jobs this thing has held up flawlessly. Bxpanded's piranha tooth bar is the real deal.

I bought the Piranha Bar in the fall and had great success clearing brush, and enhancement to the earth cutting ability was very noticeable, but the REAL test was yesterday when used it to fluff up a gravel driveway. I fully expected break a tooth or cause a fracture of some kind, but this thing stood up to that punishment without breaking a sweat. I even pried up under a concrete slab (where the cement truck apparently dumped its residual). I couldn't see so much as scratch.. So far this is probably the best enhancement I've added to my tractor. Can't recommend highly enough.

I have read several great reviews on this product. So I wanted to add another and more recent. I received my Pirahna Tooth bar 4 weeks after I ordered. It was extremely easy to install and usable immediately. I have gotten more work done and put it to the test pushing, pulling, dragging and digging and I am very satisfied and have recommended to several people. Well worth the investment and turns my Massey Ferguson 1526 into a even better work horse. Thank you BXppanded for creating this tool and the quality it is made.

Must have for B series Kubota

The wait was worth it. The Piranha Bar lets you cut grades better. It strengthens the edge of your bucket so it doesnt flex when picking up large rocks. Digs like crazy. Takes some practice to back drag and using the rear edge of the bucket (curl up)will smooth our the lines from the teeth. I'll end up keeping mine on all the time. Update from BXpanded: Thank you for the review! Many of our customers do leave the Piranha on all the time as it really makes the tractor do almost everything better. You are correct in that back dragging can leave the ground perfectly smooth, many times you can place the Tooth Bar flat on the ground and back drag utilizing the angle of the back of the bucket to knock down the large humps while allowing the lip created under the bucket by the Piranha to really smooth it out. We have had some COVID related supply issues that increased lead times but we are now improving on that dramatically. We plan to be back to our historically quick turn around times soon!

Work made easy

I had a fence line that needed to be cleared of small trees 3" an less with a lot of briers and under growth. I had been putting this job off knowing by hand I was looking at more than a week and a lot of back breaking work. I was browsing the internet and stumbled on to the Piranha Bar. After reviewing videos, I decided to purchase it and give it a try. I received it and within an hour, I did not hurry and took my time had it mounted an ready to try. Oh my gosh what a attachment that delivered everything I read about it and more. I tried with just my bucket loader with its original edge. Well, it did not do anything but bump and stop or skinned over the saplings not doing any damage. Now with the Piranha bar, it grabbed on to everything and I was moving the brush away from the fence line an into the field for disposal. Anyway I was having so much fun I finished the job in two hours. Money well spent and totally worth it

I have to say that this is one the best purchases I have ever made! The quality of the material and the craftsmanship is fantastic! The best part is taht it works extremely well. My L4200 can do things now that were impossible with the smoothe bucket lip and Harry is a class guy to deal with on top of everything else! great people and great product, Thanks Harry, JM.

I am very happy with the Piranha tooth bar on my BX25. I have been moving brush piles that sat for four years, then digging the top 8 to 10 inches of dirt from under the pile and using it to enhance soil where I am planting fruit trees and grape vines. How much did I pay for it? I don't remember. That's how it is with things that work out really well. The memory of the price of things that are poorly done leave a lasting bitter taste. GREAT PRODUCT. Quality and fit are great. Picked it up at the factory.brought it home and had it on and working in minutes. Took longer to pull the tools to put it on the bucket than to install. Should have gotten years ago.great upgrade for BX23. Digs, scrapes, back blades and eats saplings!&return&&newline&Customer service is world class. What you need

Got this on Friday after Thanksgiving. Used it Saturday and it makes my little tractor a different machine. It digs, it picks up logs, it cuts and clears brush with no problems. It also smooths the ground when used in reverse.

Yes you will need to drill two holes to install the tooth bar. I missed that detail when I ordered it. Hope to have it in action tomorrow. A live person did return my email after 8:00 at night!

Very easy to install and friendly, knowledgeable staff that will answer questions you may have. As for the tooth bar. weapon of mass destruction accurately describes it. I had used the FEL on my BX25 a bit prior to installing it. After install I would guess I am getting digging done about x3 faster. Main use is for saplings(4 acre of them). Float bucket, adjust tilt where you want to start ripping them out, press forward pedal. Most of mine are 1/2 to 1 1/2 around. I was able to take out ones up to 4 with a little finesse. Bar is very beefy, and I have no worry at all about ending up with a sagging cutting edge. Thank you BXpanded, product was better than I had even hoped for!

I have to say this is one of the best attachments I have even purchased for my bx. Fit and finish are excellent and after using it to clear trees and brush then rake the ground I feel like it opens a whole new world of tractor possibilities . The toothbar is fantastic. It made a world of difference digging compared to the bucket itself. The quality of the product is second to none, the instructions where well written and worked like a charm. This thing will last a lifetime. The Best part of the entire transaction was working with Harry over the phone and email. His customer service is by far the best I've ever experienced.

The tooth bar has been useful for many tasks. Ripping brush and skimming off sod, certainly are easy with this product. But I also found it useful for raking out a truck load of compost in a field. Drawing back with this attached, and using the fingers of it as a rake worked exceptionally well, and helped make short work of the task.

This thing is awesome. I bought one for my Kubota B3030. In the first 2.5 hours of use, I tore down an old shed with it, hauled the rubble to a dumpster, and dug out and leveled dirt for the next shed.

I had bought a Piranha Tooth Bar but also needed a straight cutting edge bar. No problem called up BXpanded and ordered one. Bolt holes line up takes minutes to change bars out. I'm sure that these bars will last me the lifetime of tractor.

Have not had the opportunity to use the piranha tooth bar yet, but it looks awesome. Only took 30 minutes to install the first time (includes the time to round up the drill and wrenches). I highly recommend using the step-bit; after using a 3/16 to cut a pilot hole the step-bit cut through the bucket metal like a knife through butter. Follow the instructions provided and the instillation is quick and easy!

This may be the first thing that I've ever actually written a review for. Easy install and then to work. If I would have known this product would have made work around the property that much easier, I'd have gotten one the day I bought our tractor. Easily and quickly clears out thickets and shrubs, found myself uprooting 4 inch trees with not much effort. I'm using a 39 horse Kubota. Great for clearing out places you might not want to use a brush hog.

All Front End Loaders should have this. I installed it today...very easy to follow instructions. There are also a host of online video's as well to look at. It is sharp, so be careful when mounting onto the bucket. Looked @ other brands and online reviews...didn't add up to me. So I went with this one. Took it out for a test drive after install...sliced through berry vines, brush and small trees with little effort...mounted on my Kubota 2680. If you look up the word "impressive" in the dictionary...the words that follow are "Piranha Tooth Bar". You will love this new tool!

I read the reviews before I bought mine. Got about 20 hours using it on my 2538 Mahindra. Digs better for sure. But what impressed me was the way I can pull trees and saplings up. It's a beast clearing off neglected land. Easy to install. Just get it and you'll be happy!!

Installed my Piranha Tooth Bar today on my JD 755 tractor with 60’ wide bucket. Went right to work with it clearing out brush and small tree stumps. This attachment is awesome. Allowed me to accomplish so much more in much less time. I never realized how poorly a flat front bucket performs. I highly recommend this as a must-have attachment.

Stop thinking about it. Buy this. It's amazing. I live in clumpy, clay and rock filled Western PA This bar changes everything. You can flick rocks out of the ground like boogers with no trouble. Back-dragging isn't affected, as long as you're doing it right. It installs in minutes with a simple pilot hole and step drill. Hardware is excellent. Ya gotta love the little stickers they give for drill holes too. Really, no kidding. This thing should be standard equipment on every FEL sold.

Great attachment!!!

I've had the tooth bar on my JD 2320 for about 2 yrs now and it has never lets me down. At first I just wanted it to take the layer of grass off to plant a raised bed garden, but then I started clearing other parts of my land full of New England bolders & sumac trees. This bar is a beast! I love that it only has 2 large bolts to put on & off as I use a different bar with a plastic edge for clearing snow. Between to 2 bars there has been zero wear & tear of my bucket edge! Some other benefits I noticed: 1. When scooping up material, be it stone for a driveway or dirt, there is a lot more in the bucket per load which saves time, 2. Material seems to stay in the bucket while moving, whereas a regular bucket seems to constantly drop material all over the place (so saves time cleaning up the mess afterword too). 3. It's incredibly strong, I've dug out & lifted bolders 28"x 18" 4. I though it would rust like crazy after the first season, but it didn't rust much at all. 5. After 2 years of use there is hardly any wear to the teeth to speak of. 6. The best way to describe this bar over the original edge is it slices the earth, I'm not spinning my wheels with my turf tires anymore! And I don't need to strain the motor while using it. This tool is a must have if you do any clearing of land with your bucket on a 2xxx series John Deer tractor.

Hi,Anyone who owns a tractor with a FEL should own a PTB also.It saves the bucket from wearing down and makes short work of saplings etc.I had a PTB on my Kubota bx2370 and loved it.I traded the BX for a B2650 and the day I ordered my 2650,7-10-19,I ordered the PTB for the FEL.Its an amazing product and just put it on my B2650 with 1.5 hours on it.You can’t go wrong,I ordered my 2nd one before my tractor arrived.

This is my first time writing a on-line review as I don't think most of them are real But I will say this bar made a ton of difference in the use of my loader. I will include photos to prove my legitimacy. I dug a 30'X80' hole 4' deep for my pole barn with my OEM bucket, I sheared off 4 of my loader bracket bolts and bent the bucket as seen in the photos. I bent my bucket back, and ordered a tooth bar, installed it and started digging a 30'X75' hole for my garage with ease, it is unreal what a difference that bar made, worth every dollar. RBB

Flawless Performance

We've used the PTB with our BX23s for about a year, and it seriously expands the power and capability of the machine. Does a fantastic job digging into thick hard backed soil for landscaping, where the normal bucket won't break the surface. Pairs especially well with a box scraper - tooth blade at the front breaks and scoops, and makes it easier for the box scraper to move and level. It's also allowed us to uproot small trees and tree stumps just by driving forward with the bucket in a low float position. You can take out dozens of saplings in a matter of minutes - far less time than it would take to do the same job by hand or with the backhoe! Great for stones too. The only thing to watch is - IT IS SHARP. Have to warn the kids not to run around the front of the tractor - could easily cut yourself if you're not careful. Honestly, if you're on the fence about this - just buy it. It is a tremendous return on investment. You won't be sorry!

I've had the piranha bar on my Rk24 for about 2years, and I noticed right off the bat how much better my tractor was able to dig. My tractor is only a 24hp diesel with a straight edge blade so it needed some more bite and it's got it now. Easy to install and worth the money.

I decided to tackle a job that was a little too big for my small tractor. After getting started, it was evident that I was going to beat up the machine, waste a lot of Diesel, and put in many more hours that I thought. After installing the Piranha Tooth Bar (30min install time) my little machine is punching way above its weight. Saturated clay, roots, 3B gravel, are easy to manage. With the Piranha you can push into material rather than feeling the need to ram the bucket in. Buckets are much fuller, so fewer trips are needed. One or many tractor manufactures should include the Piranha Tooth Bar as standard equipment. My only complaint is that it took longer than expected for delivery. To their credit, BXpanded returned all of my emails and answered all of my questions promptly. I highly recommend the Piranha for anyone that has grading, landscaping, or drainage projects in mind. Get it. It will save you time and frustration.

Tooth Bar

I held off for a month or so to write review, and see what the tooth bar could do. IF YOU HAVE A SUB COMPACT OR COMPACT TRACTOR YOU NEED THIS ATTACHMENT!!! I measured as per site and the fit was perfect. The best part is it makes these light weight tractors a little digging machine. Make no mistake it’s not a hundred horse skid steer but if you use it to excavate your going to surprised what it will do.

WOW!!!

I tend to over research before making a decision to buy. I’ve been trying to find the best toothbar for about a year. I wish I hadn’t wasted so much time and bought the piranha the first time I saw it. This thing is awesome!! Installation is straightforward and easy for me to do by myself. The performance is better than I expected, even after all of my research. Everyone I know that has need to move earth needs this. I will do everything I can to help promote this product.

I bought this back in August of 2012 for my 32 HP John Deere 3320 with a 73 inch bucket. Reading the reviews this sounded like a great idea, but I was a bit worried that the teeth would bend or break. I've had it 5 months now and it is still in A-1 shape! I've used it to dig out some rocks of various sizes and the teeth work great to pop the rock out of the ground. It works 100% awesome for removing small trees and brush. They stick between the teeth and and get plucked right out of the ground, roots and all. Anyone who does any digging will love this, the aggressive teeth dig right in. Anyone who has a buck needs this tooth bar. You will find a use for it! By the way, their customer service was outstanding and the delivery was quick and reasonably priced!
